Houston County Schools welcomes all students who live within our district's boundaries and meet state age requirements. All student enrollment is completed digitally online, but if assistance is needed please see Enrollment Help on the Enrollment Page. Specific enrollment details are listed on our Enrollment Page.
Our district uses ParentSquare for school communication, primarily with email, text, and app notifications. ParentSquare automatically syncs with PowerSchool to generate an account for each parent, using their email address and phone number. We encourage parents to download ParentSquare app.

From our academic achievements to our dynamic course offerings, Houston County Schools is committed to offering our students a variety of opportunities that align with the evolving needs of 21st-century society.
Students are able to participate in live instruction with highly qualified teachers. One-on-one instruction is also available through office hours.
The anxiety that comes along with raising your hand and answering in a traditional classroom is eliminated.
Virtual learning environments provide new opportunities for students to participate. Students access learning from any location that has internet.
At Houston County Virtual Academy students have flexibility to learn at one's own pace, cost savings by eliminating commutes and other expenses.
