About Us at HCVAThe Houston County Virtual Academy serves as the virtual school for students in the Houston County Alabama School District. The school offices are located at 662 West Main Street in Dothan, Alabama.

The school was opened in 2021-2022 for students K-12.


In 2026-2027 the school transitioned to serving 8-12 grade students.

Students 8-12 use the ACCESS platform as well as Subject AI for science courses. 
ACCESS provides direct instruction videos, onscreen teachers and provides
standards-based learning.
